Learn about the History and Traditions of Sake Brewing

Nestled beside the willow-lined Horikawa River, the 20th-century wooden buildings of a brewery house the museum. Explore the displays of preserved brewing equipment used since 1909, like sake barrels, fermentation tanks, and old sake bottles. Soak in the fragrance of steaming rice, and enjoy the fresh and rich flavors of different kinds of sake.

Explore the photogenic Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine

Continue to the vibrant Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, an important Shinto Shrine of Kyoto and the head shrine of about 40,000 Inari sub-shrines. The Fushimi Inari is famous for its 5,000 bright orange torii gates behind the shrine's main grounds.
