Besøget i parlamentet var meget velorganiseret. De termiske bade i Gellért var smukke, selv om skiltene ikke var særlig tydelige indenfor.

Vi har modtaget armbånd med adgang til skabe. De er smalle og fastgjort, så hvis der er folk, kan du ikke engang åbne dem let' flere skabe kunne stilles til rådighed i de forskellige områder af det blå armbånd . Tilstrækkelig renlighed

Personalet virkede blasert (i receptionen og ved salg af badehætter): ikke særlig smilende, ikke særlig tålmodige... ikke særlig imødekommende over for turister, hvilket er en skam Vi prøvede 4 forskellige bade, men bortset fra temperaturforskellene var der ikke rigtig noget bemærkelsesværdigt ved dem. Faktisk en ensformig oplevelse

Vi nød en afslappende morgen i Gellert Spa. Da vores billetter allerede var bestilt på forhånd, gik det meget nemt at komme ind. Vi fandt det meget praktisk at have vores egen private kahyt, hvor vi kunne efterlade vores ejendele og have adgang til dem hele tiden. Vi blev venligt eskorteret til vores kabine af personalet. Selve spaen var dejlig at være i. Der var stille og roligt, og vi nød at slappe af. Det kan varmt anbefales!

Plan a spa day at the prestigious Gellert Thermal Baths, one of the most prestigious spas in Budapest and the rest of Europe since 1918. Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes.

With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Many of the pools have underwater jets for aqua massage therapy and are filled with natural spring water. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.

What to bring

Bring a sun hat and sunscreen for warmer days.

A swimming cap is required in the swimming pool but not in the other thermal pools.

Food and drinks can be purchased on-site.

Pregnant guests must consult their doctor before visiting. Massages are not provided to pregnant women.

On May 1st (Labor Day in Hungary), the ticket prices are different: Ticket with cabin: 32€ and ticket with locker: 29€

Dress Code: Swimwear is compulsory attire to be worn at the spa as this is a mixed bath complex. Any decent swimwear is allowed for both men and women but burkinis are, unfortunately, not allowed.

Flip-flops are the most ideal type of footwear.

The outdoor pool (formerly the wave pool) is temporarily closed.

Cash desks close one hour before closing time.

The pool area closes at 6:40pm.

Saunas and steam chambers are open from 10am to 6pm.

Operating hours during festive seasons vary:

December 24, 2024: 9am-1pm

December 25 & 26, 2024: 10am-8pm

December 31, 2024: 9am-6pm

January 1, 2025: 10am-8pm
