Endnu en fantastisk tur. Vores guide var fantastisk, desværre havde jeg glemt hendes navn, men hun var oprindeligt fra Sicilien og studerede oldtidshistorie. En meget lille intim gruppe, der bestod af min kæreste og jeg samt en mor og datter, som vi havde mødt på en tidligere tur til Academia samme dag. Jeg kunne personligt godt lide den meget lille gruppe, da det gav mulighed for en hurtig start og hurtig adgang til museet. Vores guide var meget vidende, og der var masser af tid og plads til spørgsmål, som blev godt besvaret. Malerierne blev diskuteret i detaljer samt den historiske kontekst for tidsperioden og kunstneren bag dem. En veltilrettelagt tur, der efterlod os med en følelse af, at vi havde dækket de vigtige dele og var fri til at gøre, som vi ville, og besøge områder, vi gerne ville se igen, i slutningen af turen. Meget god oplevelse, tiden var kort. Men det var en super god mulighed for vores sidste dag i Firenze.
Både Cristiana (skærm) og Alejandro (chauffør) meget venlige og dedikerede mennesker, opmærksomheden er utrolig.
Sara, som var en lokal skærm i Pisa, var meget venlig, hun gav os en masse information og tog sig tid til at forklare alt på forskellige sprog.

Meeting place was easy to find and our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Andrea had a good command of English. Having additional access to the museum and baptistry was a bonus.

Guide knew his stuff, went at a just right pace. Worked out things with the bakery shop as there usual had not arrived, so we had to get nicer pastries, but at the lower price. He was a little late to start, but it was due to the rain, and he apologized. Very enthusiastic about the Duomo!

I wanted to explore the Uffizi museum on my own. I knew a guide would just want to rush at their own tune but I was sure which places I really wanted to stop and savor the art. The audio guide helped me do that. It gave me all the info yet I could control my pace.
