The building and interior were very impressive and skipping the incredibly long ticket line and subsequent queue was wonderful.

While the former is a sacred place of worship for Muslims, the latter is a museum housing valuable artifacts, mosaics, and other items related to the Hagia Sophia's history as a church and mosque.
