Lørdag den 19. april kørte der ikke nok busser. De stoppede og var fulde, så ingen kunne komme med. Lyden og stoppestederne var gode.

Jeg bestilte hoo on og Alcatraz-turen, og hjemmesiden pressede mig til at bestille til 4/7, hvilket var en dag, hvor jeg ikke engang ville være i SF. Jeg indså det kort efter og ringede for at prøve at rette fejlen, og ingen kunne hjælpe mig. De bad mig om at ombooke en anden tur og gav mig en ubetydelig rabat. Det er virkelig skuffende. Nu var jeg ikke i stand til at tage halvdelen af turen, og jeg er også ude af lommen med over 100 dollars.

Jeg var ikke vild med de platte lydoptagelser på turen. Informationen var bare okay. Værdien af 2-dages billetten var stor. Solnedgangsturen med Rocky (?) var fabelagtig. Vandreturen i Chinatown med Blake var fuld af gode oplysninger. Han var fremragende. En advarsel om kulde og vind på øverste dæk, når man kører med højere hastigheder over broerne, ville være godt. Vi lærte vores lektie på solnedgangsturen, så vi gik nedenunder, før vi krydsede Golden Gate Bridge på dagsturen. Jeg elsker appen, hvor man kan se, hvor stoppestederne er, og hvornår busserne kommer.

Det var vidunderligt at kunne se så meget af San Francisco på så kort tid. Jeg elskede lydturen, og at den ændrede sig lidt med en anden tur. Det var forvirrende at finde ud af, hvordan og hvor man kunne købe billetter. Jeg var nødt til at downloade en separat app for at få adgang til QR-koden.

Det var sådan en sjov tur. Vi fik et 2-dages kort, som passede perfekt til vores 4-dages ophold i SFO. Det var en fantastisk tur, hvor vi gik rundt til alle de steder, vi skulle se - det var vores første dag. Den anden dag gik vi bare til specifikke steder, som vi gik ned og tog billeder og spiste også. Godt gået HeadOut Big Bus SFO Tour!!! :-)

Sunset tour

Catch the Sunset tour of San Francisco as it climbs historic Nob Hill for a close-up of the iconic Grace Cathedral. You’ll cross the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island for picture-perfect views of the city skyline before heading back to the city. The tour wraps up along the Embarcadero, where the glittering lights of the Port of San Francisco shine.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind food & alcohol (except non-alcoholic drinks in screw-top bottles), and luggage are not allowed on the buses. Pack wisely!

Accessibility

Not all buses are wheelchair accessible. You can contact the service operator 48 hours before your trip and they'll try to assist you.

Your safety comes first so visitors with mobility impairments may be restricted from accessing the upper decks.

Your guide dogs (except for pets) are welcome on-board.

The sunset tour is closed on the 4th of July, Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.
