Jeg elskede historien og venligheden hos guiderne, som var så gæstfrie og tog sig tid til at tale og give os et indblik i ting, der stadig foregår på slottet. Jeg var IKKE tilfreds med antallet af mennesker, der var på tur. Det var fuldstændig latterligt. Desværre var mange uhøflige og respektløse over for deres omgivelser. Måske kunne man have mindre grupper og flere guider placeret rundt omkring for at hjælpe på flowet og for at opmuntre de besøgende til at udvise ordentlig etikette.

Det er en fantastisk oplevelse at besøge Windsor Castle, og når man ser det for første gang, føler man sig stolt over at være brite. Så meget historie og kulturarv under samme tag og på samme grund! Alt personale fra slottet til området var venligt, imødekommende og hjælpsomt. Sikkerheden er stram, som man kan forvente og sætte pris på. Meget velorganiseret rundvisning på slottet med eller uden guider. De bærbare lydguider er geniale og nemme at navigere i og tilbyder forskellige sprogindstillinger. Kan varmt anbefale denne oplevelse.

Der er så meget at se, jeg har ikke set det hele, men det var fantastisk, for stedet var enormt. Så mange drivhusudestuer og eksotiske planter og træer udenfor i parken og inde i udestuen.

Slottet er vidunderligt, alt gik meget godt med hensyn til afhentning af billetter. Men de burde skrive på deres hjemmeside, at f.eks. om søndagen er St. George's Church lukket, for det var det, der skete for mig. Hvis man ved det, kan man måske vælge en anden dag. Mange hilsner

Besøget som helhed var en meget fin oplevelse. Det mest imponerende var dog kirken ved Windsor Castle, hvor vi også kom forbi dronning Elizabeth II's grav.
