Vi besøgte det kongelige palads i Caserta med guiden Anna Sorrento. Virkelig meget sød og vidende. Hun involverede os i historiefortællingen og var i stand til at gøre besøget til en vidunderlig oplevelse. Kan absolut anbefales. Mange tak!!!!

Det kongelige palads i Caserta er vidunderligt, og vores kyndige guide er hjælpsom. Han gav os historiske oplysninger og trivia, der gjorde besøget meget behageligt. Fantastisk oplevelse!!!

Interessant besøg. Vores guide, Walter, som er meget dygtig og vidende, fik os til at tilbringe to meget behagelige timer og fortalte også anekdoter om livet i fortiden. Den eneste ulempe var, at vi ikke kunne besøge de omfattende haver og nå springvandet på grund af havenes lukketid. Hvis det var blevet oplyst ved bestillingen, ville vi have valgt det tidligere tidspunkt. Vi foreslår, at du angiver dette, så oplysningerne gives, og den fulde oplevelse kan vælges.

Your journey starts at the Palatine Chapel, with its stunning frescoes. Ascend the grand staircase, with its 116 marble steps and statues that give you a royal welcome. On the upper floor, see the Throne Room, Astrea Room’s celestial motifs, and the Four Seasons Room, where art meets nature. With your guide’s insights, each room reveals stories beyond its beauty.

Conclude at the Kings apartments

What to bring

Have entry tickets and a photocopy of your ID ready for a smooth check in.
The palace and gardens can be chilly depending on the season, so dress accordingly.
Comfortable shoes for lots of walking, water for hydration, and sunscreen.

What's not allowed

Leave pets (except guide dogs), strollers, large bags, backpacks over 40 x 30 x 10 cm, umbrellas, drones, sharp metallic objects, alcohol, and motorized vehicles behind—they aren’t allowed inside. You can check bulky items in the free cloakroom at the entrance.
Eating and smoking are prohibited inside the palace.
Flash photography is forbidden inside, and the dress code requires appropriate attire (no skimpy or indecent clothing).

Guide dogs are allowed.
Ramps and elevators are available at the venue for easy access.
Accessible parking spaces are available near the entrance of the palace.

Additional Info

The Royal Palace of Caserta is closed on Tuesdays, New Year’s Day (January 1), and Christmas Day (December 25).
If you're traveling from Naples, check train schedules in advance for a timely trip, as the train from Naples to Caserta takes about 40 minutes, followed by a 5-10 minute walk to the palace.
