Guiden var svær at følge med i og ret svær at forstå. Guiden havde ingen interesse i at hjælpe os med den næste del af vores booking - gondolturen. I bookingen stod der, at vi havde en 2,5 timers oplevelse. Det viste sig faktisk at være omkring en time i Basicila efterfulgt af et hul på 3,5 timer før en 20 minutters gondoltur. Ingen steder blev vi informeret om, at der var dette hul - jeg måtte ringe til servicenummeret for at tale med en repræsentant, som informerede mig om, at gondolturen fandt sted midt på eftermiddagen. Det betød, at vi måtte omlægge vores planer for vores gruppe på 10 personer for resten af dagen.
