Morning person or not, you're going to thank your stars that you decided to wake up, gear up, and hike up Mount Batur at super-odd hours. Long trousers? Check. Good night's sleep? Check. All that's left is chasing a spectacular sunrise and catching it just in time. The private transfer picks you and your group up, driving you to Mount Batur's feet, from where your private trekking starts.

For 2 hours, listen to your expert guide tell you stories of Mount Batur, as you hike up. You will catch a breath as you reach the summit, but you might gasp it out too soon. The Bali sunrise is known to leave quite a few travelers breathless. Adding to the treat, enjoy yummy fruits and eggs cooked over volcano steam by your guide. Once you soak in the splendor of the sun, head back down.

The hike is long: taking about 1.5 hours each way. It gets chilly – the summit temperature ranges between 8° to 15° C

This trek is not recommended for pregnant people, those with back and heart issues, and other serious medical conditions.
