• Enjoy a 15-minute scenic cable car ride from South Etna, which takes you up to 2,500 meters before you go on a 4-hour hike to the volcanic craters.

• Explore the Valle del Bove and lava flows, and reach the Barbagallo Craters with a certified guide for expert insights along the way.

• You can also opt for the rugged 4x4 ride from North Etna, ascending through volcanic terrain to 2,800 meters for a challenging trek to the summit.

• With an Alpine/Volcanological guide, hike to the Summit Craters at 3,300m, descend through the North East Crater to Valle del Leone, ending at Pizzi Deneri at 2,800m.

• Discover Mount Etna’s spectacular craters, including the powerful Bocca Nuova and North-East Crater, with views of past eruptions.

What's not allowed

• Safety comes first, so this experience is not available to guests under 10 years old.

• Pregnant women and individuals with asthma, cardio-respiratory issues, or other health conditions, are not allowed on this experience.

• The availability of the excursion is subject to weather conditions and volcanic activity.

• Additional fees of €60 for the 4x4 vehicle and €50 for the cable car are payable on-site before departure.

• Recommended gear: Wear layered clothing, long trousers, trekking shoes, and bring a backpack with water and snacks. Trekking poles and helmets are provided.

• Suitable for experienced hikers as terrain includes volcanic ash and uneven paths.
