Starring Casey Donovan as Deloris Van Cartier, Genevieve Lemon as Mother Superior and Rhonda Burchmore as Sister Mary Lazarus, we are truly blessed with three of the most extraordinary talents to ever grace Australian stages. The musical has been nominated for 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, as well as a total of 6 Olivier Award nominations across the original West End season and the London revival season. A musical sent from above, Sister Act is a brilliant, must-see show which raises the spirits and warms the soul time after time.

The story

Disco diva Deloris’ life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found – a convent! Encouraged to help the struggling choir, she helps her fellow sisters find their true voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

Min mor, som er ældre, ville gerne se Sister Act. Hun var helt vild med forestillingen, musikken, og vi fik et godt grin. Jeg tog af sted med min mor og var ikke sikker på, om jeg ville kunne lide showet, da jeg ikke kunne huske at have set filmen. Men jeg havde en fantastisk tid og nød virkelig showet! Vi fik os et godt grin og var meget glade for, at jeg tog af sted! Min mor er 88 år gammel, meget skrøbelig og bruger rollator. Vi har brug for siddepladser tæt på kørestolsudgangen eller for enden af en gang (så mor ikke falder over for mange skød). Men at se forestillingerne og den glæde, vi får ud af dem, er så vigtigt - at føle sig lykkelig. Vi elskede Sister Act, Grease, Wicked og de to gange, vi har set Beauty & the Beast inden for de sidste 6-12 måneder. Tak skal du have Tak for det Tak, tak, tak Tak, tak, tak Tak, tak, tak

Jeg ville ikke booke gennem head out igen. Vores session blev aflyst på grund af en cyklon. Det tog så lang tid at få erstatning - jeg tror, at head out var i en anden tidszone. Så måtte jeg betale $10 ekstra pr. billet. Jeg sad oprindeligt på række 4, og da vi til sidst blev ombyttet, sad vi på den bagerste række med dyrere billetter. Der var så mange ledige pladser, at jeg ikke er sikker på hvorfor. Forestillingen. Forestillingen var under studiet! Jeg var virkelig skuffet.
