Caféen i MYBG havde det sødeste personale. Jeg vil anbefale at sætte bedre skilte op, der fortæller, hvor indgangen er, for det er lidt besværligt at finde. Personalet var også meget sparsomt, da vi besøgte stedet, så vi kunne ikke spørge nogen.

Det var dejligt at være der. Det var helt sikkert en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Kan varmt anbefales at bruge sammen med familie og venner. Jeg kommer tilbage, når jeg vender tilbage til NYC.

Museet i sig selv er meget værd. Det er en meget interessant oplevelse, både for børn og voksne. Ulempen er måske, at vi måtte vente i kø ved indgangen (15-20 minutter), men ellers var alt godt. Det er uden tvivl et sted, der kan anbefales og gentages.

Jeg har altid gerne villet besøge American Museum of Natural History. Turen op til vestsiden var smuk gennem parken. Der var travlt ved indgangen til museet, men det var meget effektivt at få folk igennem og ind til udstillingerne. Indgangen med 3 dinosaurskeletter var fantastisk! De 4 etager er fulde af information og seværdigheder, der får en til at tabe kæben. Selv med mange mennesker var det meget nemt at navigere og informativt. Det er helt sikkert et sted, du vil udforske mere end én gang. Jeg kommer helt sikkert tilbage!

Fascinerende, hver fløj er et univers, museet er meget velorganiseret, vi elskede det!!! Højdepunktet for os var udstillingen af sten, menneskets evolution og dinosaurer!

New York Botanical Garden

The diverse gardens, landscapes, and water features in the 250-acre area of the New York Botanical Garden are perfect for all who want a quiet escape from the city crowds. You can take the narrated tram tour that goes around the entire botanical garden and learn more about the various plant species and unique landscapes there. The garden also hosts seasonal exhibits like the Holiday Train Show, where model trains wind through a miniature cityscape of 175 famous NYC landmarks, all crafted from natural materials like seeds and bark. This year marks the 30th edition of the Train Show which is set in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.

American Museum of Natural History

Start exploring the museum in the fossil halls with the world’s largest collection of dinosaur fossils with specimens that include the likes of Tyrannosaurus rex and Apatosaurus. Once you arrive at the Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals you’ll get to see 5,000 geological wonders of the planet like giant amethyst geodes. The Milstein Hall of Ocean Life is filled with displays of around 750 marine creatures for you too see. You can also observe lifelike habitat dioramas in the halls of North American and African Mammals. The Hall of Human Origins map humanity’s evolutionary journey throughout the years. And if you want to experience the cosmos, the Rose Center for Earth and Space has interactive exhibits that take you on a 13-billion-year voyage across the universe.
