Kaptajnen var meget venlig, og han lavede endda en vidunderlig fiskesuppe til os. Desværre så vi ikke nordlyset, fordi vejret var meget overskyet. Men alt i alt havde vi en god tid på båden.

Good food, well organized, no northern lights. I've seen the Aurora as part of a bus chase, but there was some light pollution. With the boat, we're really very far from any city and it's almost completely dark in some areas, so I can imagine it would be fantastic to see the Northern Lights on this trip, but you need some luck. The dinner was good and the crew attentive. I wouldn't do it if I knew in advance we wouldn't see the lights, since then it's just an expensive, though pleasant, dinner in a boat. But of course that is impossible to predict and you may want to try your luck.

A wonderful experience which was a birthday surprise for me! Staff were welcoming and food was fabulous. Norwegian tapas starter, hot salted cod main and cold dessert. All delicious and made perfect with the display of northern lights.

Efficient transportation, helpful orientation, and provision of thermal suits. Despite being accustomed to freezing US winters (-20 to -40 Fahrenheit not uncommon in late December) and being dressed in layers, including parkas, we were freezing. So TAKE THE SUITS when offered. The lavvu was very warm, so the layers were helpful after running in and out to see the lights before dinner. Our hosts were very flexible with the hot drinks, the meal was simple and beautifully presented. The sledding and reindeer feeding was a hoot, the lights were slowly starting to grow as we finished the ride and a full moon/stars complemented the beautiful scenery. Leaving Tromsø in the evening, as charming as the city is, was the best plan we made. Our Sami guides were equally charming during a conversational culture lesson. None of it felt rushed or rehearsed. It happened to be New Years Eve and after a wonderful evening the bus ride included sparkling, crystal clear snow and the start of fireworks EVERYWHERE along the harbour. Even if Lady Aurora is shy, the people, animals and country are worth the trip. Thanks to everyone who made it a special New Years Eve. Highlight of the trip for 17 AND 22 year old children, as well as their parents.

Guider virkelig energiske og sjove mennesker, det lykkedes os at se lysene, og netop den dag var der intens aktivitet, de bragte os til en parkeringsplads uden lys tæt på Hatteng og blev der næsten 4 timer for at sikre, at vi ser et højdepunkt af intensitet.

Vi fik en gratis opgradering til aktiviteten. Guiden var så god, han tog os hele vejen til Finland som sagt for at sikre, at vi så de storslåede lys. Vi var så heldige at komme med på denne tur. Vi fik god mad, lejrbål, varme drikke, småkager osv. Jeg kan varmt anbefale denne tur til alle. Gorgie klikkede endda på så mange billeder, vi ønskede, og de var fantastiske.

Such an amazing experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and patient, taking us to the best spots to catch the Northern Lights. He captured fantastic photos for everyone, and the hotel pickup made everything easy. This tour went above and beyond!
