Begin your escape game

Play a city game where you follow clues to discover places in Bordeaux's old town, a French city rich in well-preserved architecture. Download the Questo app and start your city game at the Monument aux Girondins. It will take about one to two hours to complete, and you can explore at your own pace: pause the game and resume it at any time from where you left off. Each clue will lead from one location to the next, providing directions without a map, GPS, or guide. The secret story of that location gets revealed as you solve the problem and guess the answer. You will end the game at Bordeaux's Big Bell.

The Storyline

You are a medieval history student who has recently arrived in France to finish your final year of college as part of a student exchange program. You discover a mysterious note hidden in one of your desk drawers in your dorm.

Discover the Old Town

Bordeaux is also called the Port of the Moon after a bend in the Garonne River. While solving clues around the Old Town, learn about the city’s history and attractions. You will see some fascinating landmarks, including the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux and the Big Bell. Pass by the Place des Quinconces, the Banque de France, the Place de la Bourse, the Saint-Pierre neighborhood, La Porte Dijeaux, the Centre National Jean Moulin, the Museum of Aquitaine, Victory Square, the University of Bordeaux, and the Grosse Cloche, one of the oldest belfries in France.
