Godt organiseret, kort ventetid efter sikkerhedstjekket, arrangørerne tog sig fuldt ud af billetudstedelsen. Meget imponerende bygning både udefra og indefra. Interessant besøg, selv om vi kun så 5 % af hele bygningen.

Agenten for billetsalg var fremragende. Hun fik en stor gruppe til stedet til tiden og var velinformeret. For derefter at overdrage til rejselederen, som også var god.

Guiden i parlamentspaladset var fremragende. Det ville være bedre, hvis vi kunne besøge flere værelser. I bucuresti therme var det så overfyldt, at vi ikke kunne sidde i nogen solseng eller stol eller seng, og der var ikke skab til alle og ikke på samme indgangssted. Det var ubelejligt. Men alt i alt en fremragende oplevelse begge steder. Paladset var monumentalt og meget imponerende. Spaen var storslået, afslappende og uforglemmelig oplevelse. Romantisk solnedgang og ekstraordinære begivenheder i elysium. Jeg anbefaler absolut, især ikke i weekender eller officielle helligdage.

Guiden var meget klar og tålmodig med et godt og forståeligt engelsk. Hun var sikker på, hvad hun sagde, hvilket gør besøget fantastisk. Stedet er fantastisk, fantastisk. Det var en stor oplevelse.

Godmorgen, vi besøgte folkets hus den 3. januar kl. 14:00, først og fremmest må jeg sige, at bygningen er imponerende, men desværre nåede vi ikke at se mange værelser og generelle områder, da turen kun var i 5 værelser. Det indtryk, jeg sad tilbage med, var negativt, da jeg gerne ville have haft, at rundvisningen havde varet meget længere for at se flere dele af bygningen såsom soveværelser, stuer, badeværelser osv, ligesom det ville have været rart på et tidspunkt at have et kaffeområde. Turlederen havde for travlt, for efter vores gruppe kom der andre, så vi måtte skynde os for at indhente dem.

Enjoy this comprehensive guided tour through Bucharest's Palace of the Parliament, one of Europe's most impressive buildings. Your informative local guide will walk alongside you, sharing intriguing facts and intel about Romania's Parliament. Walk past large halls, opulent decorations and fascinating interiors, as you gain a deeper understanding about Romania's history and politics. A name you'll hear often will be "Nicolae Ceausescu", who played a role in shaping Romania. On the ground floor, you'll pick up facts and figures about the palace it inself. On the first level, you'll see the main meeting rooms and the Ballroom, learning about its maddening architecture. The 2nd level holds the balcony that offers great views over the Fountains Avenue. All in all, a great, detailed tour of Europe's largest building that shouldn't be missed when in the city!

Ceausescu Mansion

Follow your guide through Nicolae Ceausescu's private office, the chess room, and the bedrooms. Everything is kept in place so you will see closets lined with fur coats that once belonged to Elena Ceausescu, or the dictator's pyjamas folded and placed on his bed. Walk past the family dining room and relaxation table, and learn about how the dictator lived a lavish life back then.

Make your way to the greenhouse, where the recreated tropical climate allowed for exotic fruits like bananas and pineapples to grow. Fun fact: Ceausescu was a fan of exotic birds too, which is why the garden was populated by peacocks. Last but not the least, head over to the indoor pool, which is decorated entirely in blue mosaic and has themes which are reminiscent of those from Ancient Rome. See all of this glamor in one house that was far away from people's eyes. This was where a dictator's family was living a lavish life, as the rest of the population were starving.

Photography is allowed (no flash and tripods).
Passport or valid ID card is necessary to enter the Palace of Parliament. If you are not in the possession of one of the two mentioned documents, your tour will be automatically canceled.

Ceausescu Mansion

Photography is allowed. However, using flash is prohibited.
Wear warm clothing as temperatures can drop down to low levels here.
Put on comfortable shoes, as there is a moderate amount of walking involved.

For easy recognition, the representative will be holding a sign which would state 'Ceausescu Villa tour'.
