Kan varmt anbefales! Vi bookede online fra Mexico og havde en fantastisk oplevelse. Den spansksprogede guide fik os til at vibrere med sin måde at fortælle historien på. Det eneste, jeg vil foreslå, er at sætte et flag eller en form for skilt ved mødestedet, for når du ankommer, er der så mange mennesker, at det er lidt forvirrende med andre ture.

Stor oplevelse at se paven. Men audiensen ser ud til at være gratis. Det er ikke helt klart, hvorfor det så skal være via Headout. Rundvisningen i Peterskirken var fantastisk, imponerende og med en guide, der var entusiastisk og vidende og vidste, hvordan han skulle engagere deltagerne.

Booking tickets is a must so you know where you're going and what you need to do. The line for security was really long but moved quickly and it was easy to find a seat. I highly recommend getting there as early as possible! Between 7 and 8 if possible. It was a surreal and very emotional experience and I highly recommend it! I am catholic and I enjoyed every second, so it's definitely something very special to do while in Rome! I booked the tour of the Basilica afterwards and Bridget was my incredible guide! She was so enthusiastic, kind and knowledgeable about everything and we got to hear some little known secrets too! So definitely book the tour too and hopefully you will get Bridget as your guide too, she made an already special experience much more memorable!

A communion of souls

Take part in an age-old tradition in Rome; gathering to see the Pope every week. The Papal audience is usually held either inside St. Peter’s Square, at St. Peter’s Basilica, or the Audience Hall. This depends on seasonal conditions and the size of the audience. However, if you’re visiting in the summer then the audience is generally held at the square.

Choices, choices

Your guide will tell you when and where to meet before the Papal audience begins, easing your navigation through the crowd. You could even upgrade to your choice between English and Spanish guidance before and during the mass. Else, you can opt for the guided tour of St. Peter's Basilica and follow an expert to discover the secret symbols hidden in the world's largest church.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for all guests.
Mobile phones must remain on silent mode inside the Basilica.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. The right semicircle of Saint Peter’s Square is equipped with ramp access into the Basilica. For any special requirements, contact accoglienza@fsp.va in advance.
Sign language guided tours are available at the Basilica. This service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance at the following email address: visiteguidate@fsp.va.

Expect a long wait at security, especially during peak times. Patience is key, it could take up to an hour!
