Vi havde en guidet tur med Daniela, som var virkelig god! Hun fortalte os en masse ting på en meget behagelig og interessant måde. Min 8-årige datter fulgte interesseret med i historien i en hel time.

Vi ledte med lys og lygte efter de mennesker, vi skulle møde ved siden af. Der var ingen skilte, så for os var der ingen pejlemærker. Der var grupper overalt. Vi farede vild. På den anden side var turen meget godt forklaret. Meget, meget god. En meget venlig og menneskelig person. Tusind tak for det.

Learn about hundreds of points of interest, local attractions, and hidden gems from local experts.

Explore with an official guide

Along the way, your guide will provide insights into the history and symbolism of the artwork and architecture, helping you to understand the significance of what you're seeing. You may also have the opportunity to climb to the top of the dome, which offers breathtaking views of Vatican City and the surrounding area.

Strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for all guests.
Mobile phones must remain on silent mode inside the Basilica.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. The right semicircle of Saint Peter’s Square is equipped with ramp access into the Basilica. For any special requirements, contact accoglienza@fsp.va in advance.
Sign language guided tours are available at the Basilica. This service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance at the following email address: visiteguidate@fsp.va.

Expect a long wait at security, especially during peak times. Patience is key, it could take up to 2 hours!
