Fantastisk som altid.... MEN få venligst dine vagter til at overvåge ordentligt på Philip Island og stoppe folk fra at bruge kamera og forsøge at klatre over barrierer for at komme til pingvinerne !!! Der var så mange, der bare stod og snakkede sammen, at det var meget skuffende, og for at være ærlig vil det afholde os fra at tage af sted igen, fordi det knuser ens hjerte!

Siddepladserne er ikke de bedste. Medmindre man sidder på de første par rækker, kan man ikke rigtig se noget. Og hvis nogen rejser sig op, kan man ikke rigtig se noget. Det er ret kaotisk. Jeg har oplevet det samme i Dunedin, NZ, og det var langt mindre kaotisk.

Vi nød oplevelsen af at se pingvinerne komme op af havet, men desværre var det meget koldt den aften. Turen ned var fantastisk på strandpromenaden, men det ville have været bedre, hvis der havde været drikkevarer til rådighed, især fordi der blæste en kold vind.

Hele oplevelsen var fantastisk og så velorganiseret. Pingvinerne er vidunderlige, og vi nød virkelig at se dyrelivet der. Det blev bare skæmmet af et par menneskers uvidenhed og uhøflighed, som troede, at det var ok at filme og tage billeder!

Farming Activities
As you step onto Churchill Island, you'll be transported back in time, exploring its historical grounds and experiencing the timeless rhythms of farming life. The Churchill Island Heritage Farm is the centerpiece of the island's attractions. It provides an authentic representation of rural life in the 19th century. Visitors can take part in traditional farming practices, including sheep shearing, cow milking, and working dog demonstrations. The farm is home to heritage livestock breeds, such as Clydesdale horses, which were once essential for farming tasks.
See Beautiful Seabirds
Visitors can wander through the carefully maintained gardens, including the cottage garden, rose garden, and orchards. As you explore the bay trails and various vantage points, keep an eye out for species such as silver gulls, pacific gulls, and crested terns gracefully gliding over the water. Lastly, visit the historic homestead called "Amess House," which was built in the 1870s. It's a well-preserved example of early colonial architecture in Australia.
