Oplevelsen med guiden Bianca har været utrolig. Vi nød hendes detaljerede forklaringer, hendes opmærksomhed, især med min søn, som var udsøgt. Hun gjorde den guidede tur simpelthen fantastisk. Tak for alt Bianca! Det var en fornøjelse at møde dig.

Jeg havde et kort stop i Madrid før en lang flyvetur hjem, og jeg kunne købe billetter til Museo Reina Sofia i sidste øjeblik aftenen før. De var tilgængelige til en fremragende pris, headout-appen og koderne fungerede perfekt, og jeg kom ind på museet næste morgen på det planlagte tidspunkt, uden kø, uden besvær. Som kunstner var det et must på min bucket list at besøge dette museum. Det var det hele værd. Det er første gang, jeg bruger denne app, og jeg er meget glad for, at jeg brugte Headout.

Det var supernemt at komme ind på museet. Jeg købte billetterne online, viste dem bare på min mobiltelefon og gik ind. Smukke kunstværker. Berømte kunstnere og malere.

Der er brug for bedre instruktioner om, hvordan man vælger billetter på museet, da information / vejvisningsskilte ikke er gode, og vi vidste ikke, hvor vi skulle stå i kø og blev sendt til andre vinduer. QR-koden ville ikke scanne på Prado fra de indlæste billetter. Vi kom endelig til entre!

Vi ankom til museet omkring kl. 10.30 og besøgte først første og tredje etage. Set i bakspejlet ville det have været bedre at starte på anden sal, hvor de fleste af mesterværkerne findes, og hvor der var meget travlt omkring middagstid.

The Reina Sofia Museum is home to the greatest Spanish artists from the 20th century which attracts more than 3.5 million visitors annually. The collections consist of 1,653 paintings and 707 sculptures along with a horde of paperwork, graphic art, and photographs.

However, the museum is most famous for the Guernica. This prolific piece by Pablo Picasso symbolizes Spain’s transition to democracy and is a universally recognized icon for the principles of anti-war and anti-autocracy. With lush gardens and vaulted hallways, walking through this artsy abode is a delight in itself and that statement doesn’t even account for the artworks inside.

Browse through over 20 Dali pieces, a full room dedicated to Joan Miro’s paintings, and a room on Women at the Forefront featuring works by the iconic Angeles Santos and Delhy Tejero. This modern art museum is a wonderland of art! Photos without flash, tripod, monopode, or any other stabilizing element of cameras are allowed, except where otherwise indicated. No photos or image recordings are allowed in area 206 (Guernica).

Accessibility

The venue loans special hearing loops for people with hearing impairment.

Additional information

The Reina Sofía Museum is open on Monday and Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 9pm, and Sundays from 10am to 2:30pm. It is closed on Tuesdays.
The Reina Sofía Museum is closed on January 1 and 6, May 1 and 15, November 9, and December 24, 25 and 31.
Make sure to keep your ticket during the entire visit, as the Museum staff may ask you for it at any time.
Due to conservation measures, the exhibition rooms must be kept at a constant temperature of 21º Celsius. Given the temperature inside the Museo, an item of warm clothing in summer is recommended.
Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Guests between the ages of 14 and 18 who wish to visit the museum without an adult must show their national ID document.
