At få billetterne var så let, at gå ombord på båden og turnere på øen var vidunderligt, da vi begge ikke havde været i Rotto i 40 år. Strålende dag med ridning belønnet med den bedste Bakery cream bun i verden

Nem billetudstedelse, afgange til tiden, cykeludlejning var også nemt. Vi havde en fantastisk tid på Rotto og ville gøre det igen. Tak for den fantastiske oplevelse! ☺️

Turen var fantastisk! Vi havde den bedste tid på Rottnest Island med virkelig god service på færgen. Stor gæstfrihed og klare instruktioner generelt. Forstår dog ikke, hvorfor jeg blev opkrævet et internationalt transaktionsgebyr, da jeg købte billetterne. Det ligner en australsk hjemmeside, og billetterne er købt i Australien med et australsk kort.

When I arrived I had a booking reference through Headout. It was not coming up in the system. The lady at the booking desk could not have been more helpful and ended up booking me in without additional charge. She then subsequently rung me to assure me that they had worked out what had gone wrong and she would sort it out. Great customer service.

Your day-long Rottnest Island adventure commences with a tranquil cruise from Perth or Fremantle, accompanied by live commentary that breathes life into the serene surroundings. The ferry journey offers beautiful landscapes, wildlife sightings, and a refreshing sea breeze, making it a memorable part of the Rottnest Island experience. As you near Rottnest Island, the rugged coastline of the island becomes visible. The turquoise waters surrounding the island and its white sandy beaches are breathtaking. You can see spots like Bathurst Lighthouse and Pinky Beach as the ferry approaches the island.

Cycle, explore, and marvel at Rottnest Island's wonders

Upon your arrival, pick up your bike and helmet and set off on your cycling adventure. Choose from three scenic routes tailored to your pace and curiosity. The Rotto Mini-Loop offers a breezy 4 km ride through tranquil bushland, past The Basin’s crystal-clear waters and serene salt lakes, with a stop at Vlamingh Lookout for sweeping island views. The 10 km Beaches, Lighthouses, and Lakes route guides you along stunning bays like Little Salmon Bay and Porpoise Bay, culminating in a climb up Wadjemup Lighthouse for panoramic vistas. For seasoned explorers, the 22 km Island Ride showcases the island’s most rugged and remote wonders. Pedal to the West End, where Cathedral Rocks and Cape Vlamingh provide breathtaking views of long-nosed fur seals, Australian sea lions, and even bottlenose dolphins or migrating humpback whales from August to December.

Guests under the age of 4 are restricted from participating in this experience.

Additional information

Guide dogs are allowed onboard the ferry. However, as Rottnest Island is an A-Class reserve you should contact the rangers there for further advice on service dog allowance.
All passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. If you are traveling with no luggage or freight and have e-tickets or QR codes, please make your way straight to the boarding gate. Final Boarding is 5 minutes prior to departure after which the vessel gangways are removed to ensure that the vessel departs by the stated time.
Bicycles must be collected on the island by an adult over 18 years and must be returned by closing time on the same day.

Ferry tickets are valid for same-day return from a selected departure point.
Bikes with baby seats can be requested, subject to availability.
Children's bikes are suitable for children between the ages of 4 to 7. Children aged 7 or older can usually use adult-sized bikes.
