Fantastisk bådtur fra Perth til Rottnest. Sad på øverste dæk ved hjemkomsten - nød det hele. Busturen rundt om øen var meget god. Informativ, interessant og mange kommentarer fra buschaufføren. Kunne stå af bussen for at tage billeder nogle få steder. Fandt ikke instruktionerne om, hvordan man kommer til bussens afgangssted, særlig klare. Tid i Rottnest efter busturen og før afgang kl. 16.30 til at vandre rundt i bugten, på museet og i butikkerne. Jeg spiste en god frokost på Rottnest Hotel med udsigt over stranden. Færgepersonalet var alle meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Jeg vil anbefale denne færge- og bustur, hvis man kun har én dag til at besøge Rottnest Island.

Jeg nyder udsigten, busguiden gjorde et fantastisk stykke arbejde og strandstemningen, svømning, som min familie havde det så sjovt og elskede. Mine børn var også begejstrede og nød at se quakkaen. Vi elskede vores buschauffør, Ted. Han var engageret, sjov, vidende om øen og oven i købet meget hjælpsom. Bussen var komfortabel, og vi elskede at kunne se hele øen i aircondition, da dagen var ret varm. Vi elskede også, at vi var tilbage med masser af tid til at udforske øen i vores egen tid, inden vi skulle med færgen tilbage til Fremantle.

Vi havde en vidunderlig dag på Rottnest Island, hvor alt gik glat. Vi havde bestilt en bustur om eftermiddagen, men den var lidt forhastet, da chaufføren skulle nå at give plads til andre passagerer, der skulle med færgen tilbage til Perth kl. 16.00.

What's not allowed

Single pieces of luggage up to 22kg and no larger than 800mm x 500mm x 400mm can be stowed in the vessels’ luggage crates.

Single carry-on items must be no larger than 600mm x 400mm x 300mm.

1 piece of luggage is permitted per person. Additional luggage will incur an excess luggage charge.

Additional information

Guide dogs are allowed onboard. However, as Rottnest Island is an A-Class reserve you should contact the rangers there for further advice on service dog allowance.

All passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. If you are travelling with no luggage or freight and have e-tickets or QR codes, please make your way straight to the boarding gate. Final Boarding is 5 minutes prior to departure after which the vessel gangways are removed to ensure that the vessel departs by the stated time.

Bicycles must be collected on the island by an Adult (18+) and must be returned to Pedal and Flipper by closing time on the same day.
