Scenic Views on Sagano Train Ride

Board the Sagano train and enjoy a ride among serene views. Fushimi-Inari Taisha and Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Fushimi-Inari Taisha is the head shrine for the 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan, where you can take a stroll along the long Torii tunnel, and discover fox statues scattered throughout the shrine. Kiyomizu-dera temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies on the foothills of Mount Otowa. This temple is famous for being built without the use of a single nail.
