Jeg kunne godt lide, at det var nemt at komme om bord, og at der var god plads på trods af de to vikingebåde, der også havde mange mennesker på båden. Der var et bord til mig ved et vindue med varme, som gjorde turen behagelig.

Ruhige und entspannte Fahrt entlang der Burgen und Schlösser. Sehr höfliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter , die uns während der Fahrt mit Essen und Getränken versorgt haben. Wir haben zwei schöne Stunden auf dem Schiff verbracht.

We really enjoyed the trip on the Rhine. The only thing is the server made me feel uncomfortable when I asked if I could pay with my credit card. She was really adamant about me paying cash and they only use the credit card option out of necessity. I collect points this should not have been an ordeal, which she definitely made it out to be! Not impressed with that!

Die Bootstour war wundervoll! Wir waren ganz verzaubert von der schönen Aussicht. Auch der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Unser Zug ist leider ausgefallen und wir konnten nicht pünktlich da sein, aber der Veranstalter war wahnsinnig nett und wir durften an der nächsten Bootstour teilnehmen. Die Damen, die die Getränke gebracht haben, waren auch sehr freundlich und schnell trotz Hitze. Wir können dieses Erlebnis nur jedem ans Herz legen.

A riverbank lined with palaces

An unforgettable boat trip from Koblenz through the Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO Heritage site dotted with castles and forts as old as the 12th century, is an experience you should not miss! The first historical site on your tour is the Electoral Palace, once home to the last Archbishop of Trier and now an abode for government offices. The next palace you will see is the Lahneck Castle, an intimidating fortress built in 1226 to protect the territory at the mouth of river Lahn. Opposite it, you will see another structure standing tall – the Stolzenfels Castle, a fortress built to protect the toll station in Rhine. A historic wine village, St John’s Monastery built from the ruins of a Roman fort, and the historic and somber All Saints Chapel are also some sites you will pass through.

In a picturesque blend of history and nature, witness the merging of Germany’s most popular rivers – Rhine and Moselle – at the Deutsches Eck. The last two stops on your trip are the castles and Martinsburg and Marksburg. The Martinsburg Castle was built in the 13th century to protect the aristocracy of Mainz against its raging citizens. The castle at Marksburg is one of the few hill fortresses in the Rhine to have never been destroyed as was built in the 13th century to protect the neighboring silvermines.
