The friendly crew will provide an interactive experience, allowing you to try your hand at steering the ship, hoisting the sails, or climbing the rigging for a bird's eye view of the harbour.

Learn about the rich maritime history of Sydney as you sail past historic landmarks, while the crew regale you with tales of the Southern Swan's own history and stories of sailors who braved the waters in years gone by. The ship's mast, made from a single piece of Douglas Fir that measures 27 meters in length, is just one of the fascinating quirks you'll discover. It is very rare for passengers to suffer from seasickness. The ship is very stable and the cruise remains in the calm waters of Sydney harbour.
Please note that there is no allocated seating on the ship. You are welcome to move around the ship and sit where you please.
Please be mindful of your child's agility while walking on deck, as there are ropes and other obstacles in the ship.
The ship is covered and will sail in wet weather. Bring wet weather gear if it looks like rain, it is all part of the adventure.
For everyone's safety and enjoyment, please ensure your child can navigate the deck's features, including ropes and obstacles. Children should also be mindful of other passengers' experience.
