Széchenyi Termalbad er en sand juvel i Budapest og en oplevelse, man ikke må gå glip af, hvis man besøger byen. Storheden i den nybarokke arkitektur kombineret med den afslappende oplevelse af det termiske vand gør dette sted til en oase i hjertet af den ungarske hovedstad. Fornemmelsen af at dykke ned i de udendørs bassiner, især på en kold dag, er simpelthen uforglemmelig. Kontrasten mellem dampen, der stiger op fra det varme vand, og den smukke gule bygning skaber en næsten magisk atmosfære. Desuden gør de forskellige muligheder for termiske bassiner, saunaer og tyrkiske bade hvert øjeblik til en ægte wellness-oplevelse. Personalet på Széchenyi Thermal Baths fortjener stor ros for deres professionalisme og engagement i at give de besøgende en upåklagelig oplevelse. Fra receptionen, hvor de er effektive og organiserede selv med den store tilstrømning af turister, til vedligeholdelses- og rengøringspersonalet, som sørger for, at alle områder altid er i fremragende stand.

Det er et must-see i Budapest, men prisen er helt ærligt ublu, stedet kunne godt trænge til en god renovering, og der burde være mere regulering af antallet af mennesker på stedet, for som det er nu, går man rundt over det hele. Hvor er det en skam!

Billetterne koster mindre med Headout. På den anden side, når det kommer til adgang med skabe, er der ikke rigtig nogen skabe sammenlignet med Gellért termalbad, hvor der er nogle få (offentlige) skabe til rådighed. Så man er nødt til at skifte tøj i det fri eller på toiletterne. Det er meningen, at mænd og kvinder skal være adskilt, men det er ikke altid tilfældet... Vandet lugtede af kemikalier, og det udendørs bad var ganske beskidt i bunden, selv om det var meget flot. På den anden side er de termiske bade meget store og varierede, så vi havde en god tid på trods af alt. Det udendørs bad er virkelig hovedattraktionen!

Det var sjovt ... det var en meget, meget kold dag, så det var sjovt at svømme i opvarmede friluftsbade ... Vi holdt ud i cirka to timer ... på det tidspunkt var vi ret færdige med hele oplevelsen, men det var godt. Skabene osv. var gode og fungerede perfekt.

Utilstrækkelig skiltning til stedet, en masse forvirring, når man kommer ind i spaen, og i omklædningsrummene er der ikke noget privatliv, selv på de steder, der er skiltet til kun kvinder og mænd. Personalet gør sig ingen anstrengelser for at give korrekte anvisninger og er uvenlige. De giver dig ikke håndklæder for at få adgang til spaen. Oplevelsen af at købe billetter med selskabet var meget god, men jeg ville ikke tage derhen igen.

Szechenyi Spa

Due to technical reasons, the light sauna and the volcano sauna are currently out of order.
It is mandatory to wear slippers in the spa area.
Note that the pools and pool areas must be left 20 minutes before closing time.
Note that the last entry is 1 hour before closing time.
Children under 14 years old can only use the outdoor pool, not indoor pools as they are thermal pools.

Your free river cruise is included for the entire duration of your hop-on hop-off ticket.
Please note that a minimum of 10 passengers are required for the boat tour.
The hop-on hop-off pass covers Danube River cruises until 5pm. If you want to join a later sailing, there's a small extra fee of 2,000 HUF.
Your pets are welcome on the buses only in closed baskets, cages or pet carriers.
