The ticketing and meeting point was organized. Our tour guide was very informative and professional. I honestly would have preferred to just listen to her lessons first, and then go on my own to the acropolis and museum. It was simply too crowded and too large of a group to be fully engaging.
It was challenging to follow the group walking through the immensley crowded acropolis. I think groups could be limited to around 10-12 people for these tours during peak travel season.
The lunch break was an hour in a taverna in Plaka with a limited menu, seated with the fellow tour group (by then only around 10 of us were left). The guide was not present.
The trip to Cape Sounio was good, it wasn't guided and we were left to walk around the site for an hour or so on our own. The site and view were beautiful.
All in all, it was informative and nice to see several sites, however a very long day. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone on my own to the acropolis and museum then taken the smaller tour to Cape Sounio.
