Athens for solo travellers

Our tour guide, Maria, was fantastic whom told us great history about the 6 monasteries including the geology of the area. We visited 3 monasteries of which Varlem was the best. She was very passionate and funny. I would highly recommend this tour and having Maria as a guide.

Comfortable bus. No-one mentioned wifi on board . Was it available, I wonder? We had to get back at 19:40. I think staying another 10 minutes would have made the sunset complete. Why not give us an extra 10 minutes ? No reason really. The commentaries were minimal. So much so that few even thought of giving the guide a tip.... Anyway, a lovely site, and a lovely evening. Finally, it would have been right to mention that the excursion did not inclde the entrance ticket to the site. It is quite cheap anyway, but I was not expecting to have to queue again. Hop på hop af-turene er den bedste måde at se nye byer på, når man ankommer. Der var masser af pladser, det var rent, og audioguiden fungerede godt.

Food was good, drinks as well. Just wine, soft drinks and water but it's enough if you plan is to enjoy of the view. All staff were amazing. Great service and attitude. Dj was awesome as well.

Det var nemt at sætte op fra min telefon i lufthavnen, og det virkede, da jeg ankom til min destination. Det sparede mig tid - jeg behøvede ikke at købe et lokalt SIM-kort, og det virkede under hele min rejse. Jeg kunne sms'e, bestille en taxa, slå steder op på et kort osv. uden at bekymre mig om, at jeg ville løbe tør for data.
