Turen i sig selv var meget god, og vi forstod, at det skulle gå stærkt for at få tid til at se alt det, der var inkluderet i pakken. Vores store utilfredshed, og jeg vil ikke anbefale jer til nogen, var, da vi stoppede ved Stonehenge, og fra stedet til bussen skulle vi have en varevogn for at komme tilbage til parkeringspladsen. Vi stillede os i køen 30 minutter for tidligt, og jeg ved ikke, hvad der skete, men bussen holdt op med at komme et stykke tid, og vi ville komme for sent, men ved en guddommelig nåde havde jeg taget nummeret på den pige, der var i gruppen, og bedt hende om at fortælle guiden, hvad der skete, og hun ventede på os. Vi var 10 minutter forsinket, ikke 30, ikke en time, og hvis det ikke havde været for denne pige, ville hun have efterladt os midt ude i ingenting, uden transport til at komme tilbage, uden overhovedet at tjekke, hvad der var sket. Vi er helt enige i, at man skal stole på sine egne ben, når man skal tilbage til bussen, men i denne situation var vi nødt til at stole på varevognen. Gudskelov efterlod de os ikke, men jeg blev ved med at tænke: Tænk, hvis de havde gjort det? Tænk, hvis det var mine forældre? Intet internet, ingen penge, kun kort, ingen telefon? After assembling at the designated meeting point, you will board an air-conditioned, WiFi-enabled coach to Windsor, the first stop on your itinerary. The most famous attraction in Windsor is the Windsor Castle, a 900-year-old home of the British monarchy. Be sure to visit the State Rooms, each ornately decorated. At the Windsor Castle, you’ll be able to see some of the most prominent works of arts by famous artists including Da Vinci and Rembrandt. Next up, head towards the historic city of Bath. Get a chance to explore the Roman baths, built around hot springs over 2,000 years ago. Boarding begins at 7:30 AM from the meeting point

Important Information

Entrance to Windsor Castle and Stonehenge is already included in the price of this ticket

Viewing at Windsor Castle is restricted on Sun. On rare occasions, the State Apartments or St George's Chapel may be closed

Queen Mary's Dolls' House at Windsor Castle will be closed to visitors until further notice

Your tour starts at 8:00 AM, but boarding starts at 7:30 AM. Please arrive at the meeting point on time to avoid further delays

Your tour will end at 7:30 PM at Victoria Train station. This station is easily accessible and centrally located (Travel Zone 1)

The Semi-State Rooms are currently open until spring 2021. They usually open from autumn-spring each year

Blackout Dates

2 April 2021 - Windsor Castle is completely closed

The Semi-State Rooms are not open on days when the State Apartments are closed

St. George's Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day
