En uforglemmelig oplevelse! Vi bestilte turen fra London til Windsor Castle og var helt begejstrede. Alt var perfekt organiseret fra start til slut. Guiden/buschaufføren var yderst vidende, venlig og gav os spændende information. Rejsen var behagelig, og bussen var moderne og komfortabel. Vi havde god tid til at udforske slottets majestætiske rum og besøge det imponerende St George's Chapel. I hvert fald udefra, for vi var ikke klar over, at det var lukket om søndagen. Vi var især imponerede over de prægtige statslejligheder - arkitekturen og kunstværkerne er simpelthen betagende. Tidspunktet for turen var ideelt: Vi havde tid nok til at se det hele i ro og mag uden at føle os pressede, og vi var tilbage i London i god tid. Den stressfri proces var også et stort plus - ingen køer, ingen organisatoriske problemer. Alt kørte som smurt. Jeg kan anbefale denne tur til alle, der ønsker at opleve et særligt stykke britisk historie. Det var et højdepunkt under vores ophold i London, og vi ville gøre det igen når som helst! 5 ud af 5 stjerner!

Faktisk tager de dig kun med og inkluderer fast track-billetterne, der er ingen tur som sådan ... audioguiden er meget komplet. På den anden side nævnte chaufføren aldrig hjemkomsttidspunktet eller mødestedet, så vi vidste ikke, om vi kom for sent hjem, eller hvor vi skulle mødes ... til sidst gik vi tilbage til busområdet, og der ventede vores bus stadig på os.

Turen var så velorganiseret. Vores buschauffør, Elvis, var meget informativ, sjov og venlig. Han var ekstremt vidende.

De ventede på os, fordi vi ikke kunne finde busstationen til at begynde med. Vi blev introduceret til Windsor-slottets historie på en tålmodig, venlig og supergod og detaljeret måde. Gode tips, tid nok. Uforglemmeligt, tak!

We had a wonderful time and the half day trip to Windsor Castle was defenitley worth it! If you are thinking about going, do it! Our guide Ava and driver Trisha were excellent! The bus was very nice and clean, and pick up was a breeze. There was plenty of room on the bus as the entire group size ended up only being about 20 people, which was nice! Trisha was an excellent driver and very nice! Ava was fantastic and talked about some of the history of the castle and royalty on the ride up. Ava walked us up to the castle and gave us our wristbands for entry. She gave great instructions on how to get back to the bus after as well. After going through quick security, We got there just in time to see the changing of the guard. We had plenty of time to see the State Apartments & St.George Chapel (we skipped the dollhouse) & then grabbed some coffee and did some shopping before heading back to the bus. Only a few times/rooms throughout the tour did it feel busy/crowded, so it was nice to take our time and see everything without having to wait on people/room to move around. We were dropped back off at our pickup point after. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting London and has never been to Windsor before.

Once you assemble at the designated meeting point in London, you will be taken to the castle in an air-conditioned wifi-enabled coach. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely 2 hours exploring the interiors and exteriors. Stroll through the ornate State Apartments, home to priceless artworks by famous painters like Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci. While you're here, make sure to visit the centenary celebrations at Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, a beautiful model royal home that features electricity, running water, and working lifts!

Next up, explore St. George’s Chapel, a church chapel where 10 former sovereigns are buried, including Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth. See the memorials and spend some quiet time wandering around this traditional chapel. While the interiors of Windsor Castle hold many secrets and charm, the exteriors are just as beautiful. If you have time left, stroll down the tree-lined lane and enjoy the peace and natural beauty.

The Semi-State Rooms are included in the visitor route during the winter months. Standard admission charges will apply. The Semi-State Rooms are not open on days when the State Apartments are closed.
St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays.
