Your Experience

Depart Madrid in a comfortable air-conditioned bus and relax onboard as you travel to your first stop, Ávila. Along the way, your guide will give you little tidbits about this fascinating medieval city, the birthplace of Saint Teresa. Once you reach, go along on a walking tour along the winding streets of Old Town and stumble upon Romanesque style churches, Gothic palaces and the Ávila Cathedral. Visit the fortified walls of the city and picture yourself transported back to the 11th century. Here you will be given some time to explore the place on your own.

At the designated time, meet your guide again to continue onwards to Segovia. If you have chosen it as an option during check out, you get to enjoy a wonderful lunch. In case you haven’t chosen lunch as an option, you will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch. Use this time to also pay a visit to the stunning Roman aqueduct, one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Spain. After you’re done exploring, meet your guide in front of the Segovia Cathedral, the last Gothic cathedral built in the country.

Amble along the old Jewish Quarter of the city, towards the Alcazar of Segovia. Marvel at the magical beauty of the 11th-century palace that was the inspiration behind Walt Disney’s Cinderella Palace! Your guide will give you a tour of the site and explain its fascinating history and construction.

From 1 Nov to 31 Mar, the tour is bilingual and is available in English and Spanish
Please wear comfortable shoes as a moderate amount of walking is to be expected
Tourist Lunch includes: "La Granja" white beans, Segovian-style stuffed veal with garnish and dessert. Drinks not included.
Gastronomic Lunch includes: "La Granja" white beans, roasted suckling pig and ponche cake with ice cream. Red wine, mineral water and coffee.
