Komfortabel og perfekt overførsel. Høflig og hjælpsom chauffør, der forklarede alt perfekt. Upåklagelig italiensktalende guide. Lidt trættende med en 3-årig, men vidunderligt.

Det ville være hjælpsomt og lidt mere personligt, hvis chaufføren eller en guide gav nogle oplysninger om planen (gå hvorhen, tidsplan, hvordan man kommer tilbage til bussen osv. - indgangen var forskellig fra udgangen, så vi og andre kunne ikke finde bussen). Vi besøgte heller ikke museet i minen, fordi vi ikke var sikre på, om der var tid til det. Det var anderledes at høre guiden i minen.

Meget interessant tur, vores guide Tomasz var fantastisk, vidende og også sjov, jeg vil anbefale turen. Det er varmt i minen, så der er ikke brug for mange lag tøj.

Respekt for mødetider. Stedet er utroligt. Chaufføren var venlig, og guiden var fascinerende. Den eneste ulempe var, at en af sikkerhedsfolkene var meget ubehagelig, da det var tid til at komme op til overfladen.

Mike var en fantastisk chauffør, der udpegede interessante områder i Kraków før minen. Minen er så smuk, at vores guide var utrolig passioneret omkring minen. Absolut værd at gå ned ad de 800 trin

Discovering the stunning chambers and salt masterpieces

Begin your tour at the Danilowicz Shaft, the entrance of the mine. With an expert guide, explore 22 dazzling chambers, including the Stanisław Staszic Chamber, Weimar Chamber, and the Chamber of Casimir the Great, all carved from salt. Walking through different chambers and tunnels, you’ll listen to fascinating insights about the mine’s mining history and legends from the guide. In the salt chambers, you'll come across intricate salt sculptures, an underground lake, and the magnificent Chapel of St. Kinga, also crafted by the miners entirely from salt. More highlights include the 'Last Supper' bas-relief and exquisite salt creations like chandeliers, altarpieces, and life-sized figures, all showcasing remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail.

A rejuvenating experience

Throughout your tour, you'll breathe in the mineral-rich air of the salt chambers, known for its role in promoting lung health. At the end of your tour, shop for unique rock salt souvenirs, spices, and salt-based cosmetics at the mine’s gift store.

Bring a light jacket as the mine stays cold at around 14-16°C.
Wear comfortable shoes as there is plenty of walking involved.

What's not allowed

Large luggage is not allowed inside the mine, except for hand baggage with maximum dimensions of 35cm x 20cm x 20cm.

Accessibility

This tour is only partly wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Additional information

This tour is not recommended for participants with walking disabilities as there are 800 steps on the way, including 380 right at the start.
A moderate level of physical fitness is required to comfortably navigate the tour.
The tour is also not recommended for individuals with claustrophobia, as the experience takes place in enclosed underground spaces.
