A representative will meet you you at the ticket office of King’s Cross Station bright and early in the morning where you’ll be given a welcome pack containing everything you need for your unescorted tour before they help you to your reserved seats. Take in the beautiful scenery that you will pass on your way to Edinburgh and, on arrival, immerse yourself in the historic town by hopping onto a bus for your hop on, hop off tour! See everything from the official residence of the Queen of England when she visits the city, the lofty and historic Edinburgh castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse while getting acquainted with the layout of the small city, including the busiest street in town, the Royal Mile.
Visit the magnificent Edinburgh castle as it stands guard over the entire city from the Castle Rock, as it has been since the 12th century. Gaze at the sparkling Scottish Crown Jewels before walking through the castle and taking photographs of the unbeatable view of the city that can only be seen from here. Head over to a centrally located three star hotel where you will be spending the night. Wake up fresh and delve into the city, maybe visiting a museum or enjoying a traditional Scottish meal. It’s all up to you, before you return to London by train.
