One of the most effective ways to engage with nature, explore stunning vistas, and have a blast is coasteering. In this activity, participants stroll along the coast, make their way forward by swimming, do short roped climbs, slide down a zipline, experience a rappel or abseil, and make many dives into the ocean. On the coasts of Sesimbra and Arrábida, you may experience an exhilarating rush of adrenaline while taking in the breathtaking scenery of majestic escarpments, caverns, stunning panoramas, and the most biodiverse marine environment in all of Europe.
A big part of coasteering is figuring out when the optimal time is to participate. In the intertidal and littoral zones, where the sea meets the rock, coasteering is conducted. At the core of the sport, navigation and making the most of the always-changing marine environment are vital. Regular coasteers make it a point to keep an eye on both the tide's daily movement and the state of the ocean.
Be ready for a burst of excitement and a memorable experience in a breathtakingly beautiful setting!
