What to Expect On Your Guided Tour
Start from Edinburgh and make your way to visit William Wallace's monument to learn more about the rebel warrior. Take some photos and uncover the site's colorful history rife with battles like the Battle of Stirling Bridge. During the excursion, experience the natural and cultural heritage of the Highlands, including the 'hairy coos' (cattle) roaming freely through the park to the geological wonders of Loch Earn and Loch Lomond.
After lunch, stop at a whisky distillery for a tour and taste whisky straight from the cask, but you'll have to pay for that on your own. Enjoy a leisurely walk along fur-lined paths along the Braan River to Ossian's Hall and Black Linn Falls at the Hermitage, a whimsical natural wonderland. Your full-day trip ends back at the beginning point with the return to Edinburgh along the Tay River with a visit to Dunkeld Cathedral, a fitting tribute to the town so famously illustrated in Macbeth.
