The armoury was incredible! As well as seeing some fantastic ceilings, amazing artwork etc. Doges palace Is definitely worth the visit.

This walking tour in Venice was the absolute highlight of my vacation in Venice. We walked through the less touristy parts of the city and was taken through inside alleys - quiet and authentic. I especially liked area around Campo Santa Margarita which has a huge local population going about their daily lives. Our guide, Marco was highly knowledgeable with an undertone of humour, which kept us in high spirts throughout the 2 hour long walk. He even showed us gelato spots that are not on the tourist radar and I must say, they were so much tastier than the ones on St Mark's Square! I'd recommend wearing walking shoes because there's a lot to walk and a couple of steep bridges to go about.

The pass was useful for the other exhibits. The day we arrived for Doge Palace, there was a super short queue, and it seems like we've wasted some money to get the fast pass. We arrived 10:30 AM so we were expecting a line. Anyway, the pass worked great and we went in the other museums with no problem at all.Sonja
