Your Experience

Designed for people of all ages, Dolphin Discovery-Isla Mujeres is located just 20 minutes away by ferry from Isla Mujeres. The island is known for some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Caribbean Sea, so get into your holiday mood, let go of all your inhibitions and enjoy a swim with adorable dolphins in their natural habitat! Don't worry about your lack of experience - you will be standing on an underwater platform where the friendly dolphins will give you a kiss and a wet (but warm) hug! While you're standing there, you will have specialists recount fun facts about these playful dolphins such as their diet, breeding programs, and how they are looked after, as well as some tips to protect the environment. Once you're done with the dolphin encounter, go for a dip in the two pools, or just soak in the sun.

If you've chosen the option with entry to Garrafón Reef Natural Park, you will get to see a combination of the beauty of nature along with access to exciting activities on the island. Go snorkeling in one of the most beautiful coral reefs in Cancun or work out your extra energy with a kayaking trip in the lovely turquoise waters. When you get hungry, enjoy a bite (or much more) from the succulent buffet menu and sip on refreshing drinks from the national open bar. Later, lie down on the comfortable lounge chairs or hammocks, and relax. It's two unique experiences rolled into one - an absolute must-do!

Important Information

Please use the comments section to include infants of 1 m or less in your reservation since their participation has no cost
You will need to pay for the dockage at the time of your registration just before boarding
The use of life jackets is mandatory in all aquatic programs
In Isla Mujeres, this program admits groups with a maximum of 20 people
Children taller than 1.40 m will be able to participate alone in any program when paying the adult rate
For the Encounter program, children with a height of 1.21 m and up to 1.40 m will be able to participate alone
Children with a height of 1 m and up to 1.20 m can participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult
If your child is shorter than 1 m, they will be considered infants and will carry out Encounter program activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they adjust their vest)
The use of cameras in the water is not allowed. Professional photographs will be available for sale
Do not forget to use biodegradable sunscreen, to take care of your skin, the environment, and marine species
For safety purposes, women who are 5 months pregnant or less can only participate in the Dolphin Encounter program accompanied by another adult and after signing the responsibility form. Women who have crossed 5 months of pregnancy cannot participate in any of the aquatic activities
Remember to arrive 30 minutes before your program since you will receive a previous orientation
If you have any physical or health problem, contact us to provide you with all the information related to our services before making the reservation
We recommend that you bring towels, as well as cash for taxis, purchases, meals, and other expenses

Infants aged 0-5yrs can enter for free. Simply present a valid photo ID and get free entry. Children aged 6-12yrs enjoy reduced ticket pricing (carry a valid photo ID)

Ferries depart from Cancun to Isla Mujeres at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Take the 9:00 AM ferry for a 10:30 AM activity start time, and the 11:00 AM ferry for a 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, or 3:30 PM activity start time
