We visited the Florence Cathedral on Monday, October 7. Our guide was really very knowledgeable and explained very clearly the historical and cultural context of the city at all stages of construction. Pleasant and interesting visit. Unfortunately, we did not have a ticket for the bell tower, the dome and the Baptistery. Reason to return.View original review in ItalianSuzanne

Guide needs to speak clearly. The cathedral itself was exquisite. Too much too fast and not spoken clearly after being in the cold outside too long. I would have learned more by reading the history.
