After being driven up to the Plaza, our licensed guide will talk you through the construction and planning phases of the Elbphilharmonie. You will also learn incredible facts like the total cost of construction, how the architects managed to design the Outer Plaza in a way that no birds would ever fly in, and what 50-ton object hangs over the stage. You will also get to learn about the Kaiserspeicher before construction began, as well as the different uses for the interior spaces of the Elbphilharmonie. Soak Up the Architecture of the Venue

Take a second escalator, this time to the 8th floor and former roof of the Kaiserspeicher, now the Plaza. Walk through the indoor and outdoor plaza, admiring the architecture and the intricate detail that's been used in the construction. Look out at the city of Hamburg and take in the impressive views.
