I had expected the word "sanctuary" to be more of an area where the elephants would roam free. It was rather disappointing to see them in a relatively small area, appearing to be rather confined.

The best experience in our life!!! Our transfer was little bit late at morning but kind lady immediately apologized. When we arrived kind staff of Half day tour welcomed us and bring us to elephants. Oh my goodness! Where do I begin...? The driver was on time for pick up. The Sanctuary was amazing! We were engrossed from start to finish.. The whole experience was out of this world; so much care and love was shown for the Elephants... All the staff were clear speakers and joined in activities. We had a great laugh.. Then the Pad Thai meal was made and buffet enjoyed... Thank you so much to the Sanctuary members....it was a fantastic time..even for us oldies at 64/65 year old...Karen
