The Golden Age of modern Jazz saw many greats including the likes of likes of Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Kenny Clarke and others in the early '40s. At age eighty-seven, saxophonist Benny Golson is one of the last surviving links to that Golden Age.
He will be hitting the legendary Jazz Standard on October 25. Make sure you keep your calendars free for this legend of our times.
