This show features various dances, rituals, and live and musical performances that are typically held in summer and across various regions to showcase the diverse and vibrant festive culture in Japan.
Dance, music, and some more
The performances include the famous Awa Odori where dance troupes wearing fan-shaped braided hats form long lines or circles and move to the two-beat rhythm of the shamisen (three-stringed flute), yokobue (bamboo flute), kane (bell) and taiko (drum). Watch a live show which demonstrates and explains the history, traditions, and lives of high-ranking courtesans called Oiran. Pero eso no es todo. Get mesmerized by the highly energetic choreographic moves of the taiko drummers as they create interesting and beats music that are nothing short of amazing. Last, but certainly not least, take some pictures with the performers after the show to mark your memory of this trip.
