Your guide will lead you through both of the concentration camps located in Auschwitz and Birkenau, all the while trying to illustrate the sheer scale of the horrors of the Holocaust with the help of facts and anecdotes. Learn more about the inmates and the grueling lives they were forced to lead from the various exhibits at the UNESCO listed museum, with extensive documentation of the many trials and tribulations the prisoners had to undergo. Further, you will be led through the camp at Birkenau, where you can see for yourself the horrendous living conditions the prisoners were subjected to, and the gas chambers where they were executed en masse. - The pace and duration of the tours are determined by the memorial’s visitor service. Hence, pick up time/duration of the tour are subject to change.
- Before entering Auschwitz I, you’ll be required to pass through security and metal detectors. Your bags will be inspected and only small handbags and very small backpacks are allowed. There are no lockers on site for storing luggage or larger bags.
- Due to the short breaks (up to 15 minutes), we recommend bringing your own food.
** Timings and Availability**
This guided tour takes place daily. The available time slots vary depending on the day and you can check the available times while booking the tour. Pickup from the meeting point in Krakow is included in the price of the tour. The total duration of the tour including pick-up and drop-off is approximately 7 hours while the museum tour itself takes 3 hours.

** Dress Code **
Since the tour involves a fair bit of walking in the museum, we recommend you put on some comfortable shoes to walk with ease. Please make sure to cover up while visiting the museum. Dress in a manner which is appropriate for the character of the museum.
