    Venture into the world of one of the most significant artists of the second half of the 20th century with the Fondation Louis Vuitton's Ellsworth Kelly – Shapes and Colors, 1949–2015 exhibition. Celebrating the centenary of Kelly's birth, this is France's first comprehensive overview of the artist's work, showcasing a diverse collection of over 100 pieces. A must-see for art lovers!

    Exploring Kelly's creative odyssey across diverse mediums

    The exhibition traces Kelly's exploration of the relationship between shape, color, line, and space through key works from pivotal periods in his career. The collection, presented on two floors, offers an array of works that urge viewers to appreciate the deceptive simplicity of Kelly's artistic vocabulary and the surprising vitality and richness of his body of work. One of the striking exhibits is Yellow Curve, the first of Kelly's large-scale floor paintings, presented in Europe for the first time since its creation in 1990.

    • Visitors are requested to leave the galleries 15 minutes before the effective closing time.

    • Note: Starting May 4, 2024, the Fondation presents Ellsworth Kelly – Shapes and Colors, 1949–2015 and Matisse: The Red Studio simultaneously. The ticket gives access to both exhibitions and the whole building.

    • Optional shuttle service:

      • Frequency: Every 20 minutes depending on opening hours

      • First bus: From Exit n°2 Charles de Gaulle – Étoile subway station - 44 Avenue de Friedland 75008 Paris

      • Last bus: From Fondation Louis Vuitton, 7 minutes after closing time

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
