What better way to do so than by heading to the Queen’s House Ice Rink that is returning to Greenwich this Christmas! Conveniently located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll have no trouble locating it with public transportation. The spacious, wintry grounds of Royal Museums Greenwich give you a magical place to forget your troubles and enjoy an hour-long session of gliding away! Add to this the unbeatable views of River Thames and Greenwich Royal Park, and you’re guaranteed a serene min-sightseeing experience as well. Safety measures are in place to ensure you can skate carefree. Make sure to cooperate with rules and Ice Marshalls to enjoy this experience to the fullest!

COVID Safety Instructions
- Kindly adhere to all COVID safety requirements at the ice rink and follow instructions of Ice Marshalls
- Wear a face mask while in the ice rink tent at all times (unless specifically exempt under Government guidelines)
- Maintain social distancing from anyone not in your household as much as possible
Important Information
- The minimum age to skate is 3 years old
- Please only bring essential items to the rink with you. Storage facilities are limited and staff will not be able to look after your belongings for you
- A skate aid can be booked if required (£5 each to hire) and are subject to availability
- You can bring your own skates. However, organisers are not responsible for your skates, shoes or property when skating at our rink. There is no reduction in price if you bring your own skates
- The skate sizes go from size J8 to size14
- The ice rink will operate in nearly all weather conditions. In the unlikely event that the ice rink must close, alternative sessions will be offered
- We recommend wrapping up in warm, outdoor clothing and please wear gloves. As skates can get wet, it would be a good idea to bring a change of socks for after your session
- There is a secure public car park at the National Maritime Museum which can be used by visitors to any of the museums. The car park is located on Park Row within the grounds of the Museum
