Le musée lui-même est un excellent exemple de la volonté des Français d'avoir une image moderne d'eux-mêmes tout en préservant et en transmettant la culture européenne. La transition entre les différentes salles est malheureusement moins bien réussie. La navigation doit être améliorée. Sinon, s'il y a un espace dédié à l'islam, il devrait bien sûr y avoir, pour des raisons historiques et actuelles, un espace juif et un espace israélien.Voir le commentaire original en allemand

Nous sommes venus au mois d'octobre et c'était le moment idéal pour visiter. Il n'y avait pas autant de monde que pendant les mois d'été. Nous avons donc pu prendre notre temps pour naviguer et nous déplacer plus facilement. C'était la première fois que nous venions des États-Unis et que nous voyions les œuvres de nombreux artistes célèbres et les objets historiques que nous n'avions vus que dans les livres, les films ou les médias sociaux. C'était incroyable. Tout prenait vie et on pouvait voir la profondeur et le sentiment que chaque pièce dégageait de manière unique.
