Explore Victoria's wildlife island to your heart's content, a convenient 90-min journey from Melbourne's CBD. This ticket includes access to all three parks, making for an all-inclusive experience altogether. With this one visit, you'll see penguins, koalas, seals, and wallabies- all in their natural habitat.
Penguin Parade
Philip Island is home to the world's largest penguin colony. Watch the amazing seabirds waddle home to their burrows from the ocean from viewing platforms and boardwalks. The Penguin Parade has a variety of activities for all ages. Pick the General Viewing ticket for tiered seating in the general viewing grandstands, a great vantage point to look at the penguins and the gorgeous Summerlands Beach. The Penguins Plus ticket lets you get up and close with the adorable flightless birds from the Penguins Plus grandstand. The Underground Viewing lets you go underground and watch the penguins waddle right past the window. Some may even come up to the glass and wave at you!
Koala Conservation Reserve
Stroll about tree-top boardwalks to watch koalas in their natural habitat. Walk through the woodlands and notice a multitude of birds, wallabies, and echidnas. With a variety of family-friendly activities in store for you, this is a great way to explore the lush native bushland and admire Australian wildlife in its natural element.
Churchill Island
Wide-open spaces and ample fresh air lets you wander Churchill Island in utter peace. Historical grounds and farming activities make up most of the island: walk along the bay trails and enjoy bird-watching huts, the tranquil scenery, and the relaxing decks all around. Grab a cup of coffee at one of the cafés as the lush greenery of the island surrounds you. Churchill Island is best known for its walking and cycling trails, so take advantage of that. Various other activities take place here at varied times, including blacksmithing, cow milking, sheep shearing, whip cracking, and then some!
Antarctic Journey
The interactive and immersive experiences at the Antarctic Journey promise lessons on conservation, climate resilience, and the inhabitants of the Southern Ocean to Antarctica! This joint venture between the Nature Parks and WWF-Australia takes you on a virtual journey, filled with activities designed to educate and entertain. Breeze past the Antarctic Chill Zone, check out the thermal image space, explore sustainable seafood options, and learn about the animals that live in the deep blue. Animal calls, microscopes, and fascinating specimens of Antarctic wildlife await at the Sound Lab & Research station!
