About Friedrichstadt Palast

Main entrance
The primary entrance to Friedrichstadt-Palast is located on Friedrichstrasse, with a set of steps leading into the theater. It provides access to the main lobby and seating areas. The entrance has large, ornate doors and prominent theater signage, making it a straightforward point of entry for most visitors. However, it is not wheelchair accessible.

Side entrance
The side entrance is located on Johannisstrasse and is fully wheelchair accessible, with a lift to assist visitors with mobility needs. It is marked with the ‘Accessible Entrance’ symbol and includes a doorbell for assistance. The entrance provides easy access to the theater’s lobby, as well as accessible seating and restrooms inside.
- The theater is closed on Mondays.
- The box office is open Tuesday to Sunday from 1pm to 6:30pm.
- Doors open one hour before showtime.
- The show duration is approximately 2.5 hours, including a 25-minute intermission.
Friedrichstadt-Palast does not allow you to carry large bags, coats, and suitcases inside the halls. You can store your belongings in the cloak room and head to the theater hall.
