Licenses issued from countries that are not under the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, and Qatar) will not be allowed to drive in Japan.

Guests aged 17 and under are restricted from participating in this experience.

The experience is not accessible for pregnant women and people with back and neck problems.

Note that the following are not allowed on this tour: flip-flops, sandals, and high heels.

Participants will need an International driving permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention to drive in Japan.

For Australian driver's license holders, you need to obtain an International Driving Permit from either AAA, NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT or AANT before you leave Australia. Any other permits issued by other unauthorized associations are not recognized in Japan.

Participants with licenses issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco would be required to obtain a Japanese Translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).

Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or original country license and official translation for some countries) and original passport.

If you are in the U.S. military, you will be eligible to drive with either your SOFA (USFJ Form 4EJ) Permit or state-side license and Active Duty Uniformed Military ID.

Please arrive at the redemption point 30 mins before the scheduled time of your experience to avoid any delays. Please bring your physical permits or necessary documents and physical passport with you.

2-hour go-karting option is available between July 01 and August 31, 2024, and the course goes through Akihabara, Shibuya Crossing, and Imperial Palace.
