The location and roof are incredible. Staff were very helpful. As a guest you can go to the Roof deck terrace during your stay which is a reason for staying here. However bathrooms need updating and heat can’t be adjusted. Strict cancellation policy too which is normal for many of the hotels in Barcelona. I think The view from terrace makes it well worth it just don’t expect an updated hotel.Zebsmom

The hotel needs updating. My bathroom shower had an escutcheon that was no longer attached ti the wall and when I lifted the hand held shower head, the escutcheon slid down the hose. It's annoying and shows lack of care. The key i was issued seemed glitch and sure enough, it quit working. I has booked tickets to multiple sites and was between events when I returned to the hotel and couldn't get into my room. I only had a few minutes to change clothes and get to the next location that had a timed entry. I went to the lobby and the front desk had a long line of people checking in. I asked the employee near the front door and opposite reception for help. She refused and said I must go stand in the line, even though I explained my situation.Zebsmom

Everything was great, location, breakfast, clean room, service. Hotel is located next to Sagrada Familia and the view was amazing! For sure I have to come back to this place.Fearless63804247205

Great hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind. It doesn’t get better than the rooftop views of the SF. The only issues was we could hear all the noise from outside and if you’re a light sleeper it might keep you up. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay and would stay here again. It’s also super close to a lot of restaurants!
A coastal adventure minus the crowd
Escape the crowds and experience the Great Ocean Road in reverse. Start your journey from Melbourne and take the inland route where you’ll arrive first at the Twelve Apostles where you can watch the wave hit against the limestone stacks. Then, head on next to marvel at the Razorback, a jagged rock formation not far from the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge where you can listen to your guide tell you the legend behind the 1878 shipwreck.
Spot wildlife and indulge in sweet treats
Move on Mait’s Rest in Great Otway National Park, where you enjoy a guided rainforest walk under towering beech and myrtle trees. Who knows, you might spot some kangaroos peering at you from the greenery. Next, stop for lunch (at your own expense) at the coastal town of Apollo Bay before heading to Kennett River where you can spot koalas napping in eucalyptus trees. End your tour with a sweet stop at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery at Anglesea where you can choose from over 144 flavors before heading back to Melbourne.
