Discover the Ruins of Nora
The tour begins with a departure in a minibus from Cagliari. On your arrival at the archaeological site of Nora, learn about the early Roman lifestyle in the city with your guide. Admire an amphitheater that was the only one of its kind on the island during the Roman era. Visit the remains of the 3 spa buildings that housed thermal baths and were used for social gatherings, medical purposes, and relaxation by the residents of the city. Marvel at the mosaic floors that date back to the 2nd century AD and are made of small, colored pieces of marble or glass, called tesserae, that were laid out in intricate designs.
